Stranger Things 4 from May 27 on Netflix, here are the first images

Finally Netflix has announced the release of the highly anticipated fourth season of Stranger Things, after a very long delay linked to the COVID-19 pandemic that has complicated production and filming activities. The fourth season will be released in two parts due out in 2022: volume 1 will debut on May 27thwhile volume 2 on 1 July.

But that’s not all, since Netflix confirms that there will be a fifth and final season, final act of the series. For the occasion, the Duffer Brothers, creators of the series, wrote a special open letter to fans, in which they announced the debut date of the new episodes and shared other information on the future of the series. Netflix has gone big and has also decided to unveil the official playbill and four posters, one for each location in which the fourth season is set: Russia, California, laboratory and Creel House. Six months have passed since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. As they deal with the aftermath of what happened, our friends split up for the first time, and the hardships of high school don’t make things easier. Since its debut in 2016, Stranger Things has garnered positive reviews in every country it has aired, garnering over 65 awards and 175 award nominations including Emmy, Golden Globe, Grammy, SAG, DGA, PGA, WGA , BAFTA, a Peabody Award, AFI Program of the Year, People’s Choice Awards, MTV Movie & TV Awards, Teen Choice Awards and many more.

The three-time Emmy-nominated show is one of the most watched titles on Netflix: Season 3 clocked up 582 million viewing hours, ranking second in the Top 10 English-language series, while Season 2 ranks 10th with 427 million viewing hours. The Stranger Things series was created by the Duffer Brothers and is produced by Monkey Massacre Productions and 21 Laps Entertainment.
