It’s no mystery what OnePlus is working for expand the Nord range. There will be – the rumors have been suggesting for weeks – a pair of true wireless earbuds, which we will probably know how OnePlus Nord Budsand a smartwatch that will be the budget alternative to the OnePlus Watch, which has been official for a while and we’ve already reviewed.
There are not many doubts about the name of the next wearable: it should be called OnePlus Nord Watchso it would flesh out the product range more attentive to the value for money. Nor is there any doubt that he will do it relatively quickly. It is evident from the discovery of the informer Mukul Sharma, who says he has caught OnePlus in a foul: a poster that refers to OnePlus Nord Watch would be appeared for a few moments on the portal of the company.
Unfortunately, however, the indiscretion does not bring anything new in terms of characteristics or technical specifications. The hypotheses made in recent weeks remain, according to which OnePlus Nord Watch will have a sensor capable of detecting the blood oxygen saturationwhich is not obvious for a “cheap” product, in addition to all the sensors that now constitute the basic equipment of modern wearables, therefore the one for heart rate and sleep tracking, while it is not clear whether it will detect the location via GPS or will lean on that of the smartphone.
Chapter price: rumors report that in India it will have a price between 5,000 and 8,000 rupees, at the current exchange rate between 60 and 95 euros. We expect it to arrive in Europe as well, perhaps on the edge of 100 euros considering the logistics costs and taxation. It should be presented together with the OnePlus Nord 3, then at the beginning of the second semester. The OnePlus Nord Buds earphones, on the other hand, should arrive sooner, it is said by the end of the month.
