Netflix kills the Annie Awards: 19 wins out of 31 categories

Netflix is ‚Äč‚Äčalso collecting prizes in the world of animation, thanks above all to The Mitchells against the machines and Arcane, the series on League of Legends: over the course of the weekend the Annie Awards ceremony was held and only those two titles brought home 17 statuettes, out of 31 available in total . Incidentally, they both won the two most important statuettes, namely best film and best television content, and both won every category in which they were nominated. But that’s not all: there are also two statuettes for Maya and the Three, a Spanish miniseries aimed at the youngest. Summarizing the victories, then:

It is also worth mentioning the victory of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which we reviewed last summer, for the best animation of a character in video games.

Netflix and Riot Games have already confirmed the production of a second season of Arcane, and while nothing has yet been officially decided for The Mitchells Against the Machines, director Mike Rianda has already confirmed that he is talking about it.
