Mercedes GLC, latest spy photos of the new generation before the debut

The debut of the new generation of the Mercedes GLC is fast approaching. It is therefore not surprising that the forklifts used for road tests are starting to show less camouflage than in the past. The new spy photosin fact, they show the new SUV with a slight camouflage concentrated mainly on the front and rear. This allows you to better observe the new design that the new model will have

New GLC rests on the MRA2 platform and should have a length of 4.72 meters. This new model is based on the new C-Class. In terms of design, there is a certain family feeling with the German sedan. The images also allow you to see the new front and rear light clusters which feature a slim design. The slight increase in size compared to the previous generation will allow to obtain not only more space for passengers but also for luggage. In fact, there is talk of a trunk with a capacity of about 600 liters.

The new spy photos do not allow you to take a look at the interior. However, the interior should have a very similar look to that of the new C-Class. This means that we will also find an infotainment system with the latest evolution of the MBUX system that will allow access to a whole range of advanced digital services.

According to some past rumors, the new GLC should also be equipped with 4-wheel steering. And speaking of engines, the new SUV should offer the same range of 4-cylinder units offered today with the new C-Class. These are petrol and diesel units equipped with mild hybrid technology. These engines will be the first to be launched with the new GLC.

Later, the Plug-in versions which should be able to offer an electric range of up to 100 km. In the future, they shouldn’t even be missing variants signed AMG. When will the new generation of the Mercedes GLC debut? There is still no official date but we are talking about the first of June. Therefore, all that remains is to wait for further news from the German car manufacturer on the launch of this new model.
