Maserati Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte: MC Edition to celebrate sporting successes

Motorsport is part of the DNA of Maserati. To celebrate the racing soul of the manufacturer, the new special series MC Edition for Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte. MC stands for Maserati Corse. Therefore, the car manufacturer wanted to propose a special version for these models, available from this month of February, which takes inspiration from the world of competitions where the Trident was a great protagonist in the past and where, hopefully, it will already be one again. starting next year with the landing in Formula E.

DEDICATED DETAILS



The special MC Edition series is dedicated to the Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante equipped with the V8 engine and is characterized by a series of specific aesthetic details. These cars proposed in this special version can be chosen in the colors Yellow Corse and Blu Vittoria. Yellow and blue are the colors of Modena, the symbol city of the Motor Valley and home of Maserati.

Both of these shades feature a three-layer finish. The yellow one, however, is characterized by “not blue” reflections to accentuate the sporty look. Blue, on the other hand, is opaque. The MC Edition range is also recognized by the presence of details in Piano Black and by a specific badge on the front fender and on the B pillar. Levante MC Edition adopts 22-inch wheels, while Ghibli and Quattroporte 21-inch wheels. The rims have a glossy black finish. The brake calipers, on the other hand, have a blue color.

Speaking of the interior, the cockpit features blue carbon fiber elements. In addition, the seams on the seats are yellow and blue along the Nero Pienofiore natural leather and are combined with the Denim inserts. The seat headrests feature an MC Edition logo. The equipment of the special series is completed with the sunroof, the Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system and the Driver Assistance package.

No changes, however, regarding the engines.

IN FORMULA AND FROM 2023



And as mentioned at the beginning, Maserati has decided to finally get back on track. As we have seen recently, the brand will land in 2023 within the Formula E World Championship. This series will also represent an opportunity for the carmaker to experimenting with new technical solutions on the track to be subsequently integrated into its standard electric cars.

The brand will debut with the new Gen3 single-seaters. The pilots, for the moment, have not yet been announced.
