On the eve of the Rome E-Prix, Maserati announced more details of its upcoming landing in Formula E. As we know, at the beginning of the year the car manufacturer had communicated its decision to want re-enter the world of motorsport and precisely within the championship dedicated to electric single-seaters. However, no further details were provided at the time.
The only thing Maserati had added was that it would make its Formula E debut in 2023 with the new Gen3 single-seaters. Now, the Trident has announced that he has chosen the team for this new adventure in Formula E ROKiT Venturi Racing. Maserati will therefore replace Mercedes as the Venturi team’s powertrain supplier.
It will therefore be very interesting to find out how this collaboration will evolve and the details of the powertrain that Maserati will provide to the Venturi team.
