Fisker Ocean, the electric SUV will debut in Europe at the Mobile World Congress

The new Fisker Ocean electric SUV will do its thing European debut at the Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona which will be held from February 28th to March 3rd. Visitors to the fair will be able to get a close look at this model which will also arrive in some European markets in the course of 2023. As we already know, it will be produced at the Magna plant in Graz, Austria, starting from 17 November 2022.

The Old Continent, for Fisker, is very important. The automaker expects to arrive to sell 60,000 units a year of its new electric SUV. The brand also recently opened its own office in Munich, Germany. The European presentation could be an opportunity to learn more about this model as Fisker has not yet revealed all the complete features of its battery-powered car.

Fisker Ocean, at its debut, will be offered in different versions: Fisker Ocean Sport, Fisker Ocean Ultra and Fisker Ocean Extreme. In addition, there will also be a launch edition in just 5,000 units called Fisker Ocean One. Going into detail, the “Sport” model has a single electric motor (front-wheel drive) capable of delivering 279 hp (205 kW).

The Ultra model, on the other hand, features a double electric motor and therefore also offers four-wheel drive. Overall, the power is 547 hp (402 kW). Finally, the Extreme and Ocean One models feature the same dual-engine powertrain capable of delivering 558 hp (410 kW). The Extreme and Ocean One models are also the ones that offer the longest range of 630 km. No details have been provided on the capacity of the accumulators and on the charging powers.

In America, prices start at $ 37,499. We’ll see if new information about the SUV and its debut on the Old Continent market will arrive in Barcelona.
