The announcement of Kingdom Hearts IV which took place yesterday on the occasion of the celebrations for the 20 years of the series has made evident a fact that is now practically established: the leak of the Nvidia database last September is a kind of diary of the future which inside it contains very precise indications regarding many of the upcoming titles to be released.
Over the last few months, in fact, we have witnessed completely unexpected announcements but which had been anticipated by the information contained in the database, such as the remaster version of Chrono Cross (just released these days), the PC version of God of War, Street Fighter 6, the GTA trilogy and much more. In short, the list turned out to be precise even with regard to announcements on which no one would have bet a cent (like the Chrono Cross remaster), so this bodes well for all the titles that are on the list and that have not yet been revealed.
LEAK NVIDIA: THE MAIN ABSENT
The database that emerged on that occasion is truly boundless, however it is possible to easily identify some very important names that could be the protagonists of the announcements in the coming months. Among these we find titles of the caliber of:
- Final Fantasy IX Remake
- Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster
- Gears 6
- Monster Hunter 6
- Resident Evil 4 Remake
- BioShock (2022)
- Tekken 8
- Half Life 2 Remaster
Obviously the list also includes other names, but these are already enough for a roaring 2022, including remakes, remasters and new chapters of already famous sagas. We know that some of these titles are more likely than others – such as the remake of RE 4, which has a high probability of coming this year – while others have become so in the last few days. Just think of the recent technical showcase of The Coalition on the occasion of the official launch of Unreal Engine 5, which could be followed by some important announcement this summer at the Summer Game Fest. We just have to wait a few months to find out more.
