Ferrari has published the first official photo of the new Purosangue SUVconfirming that the debut is expected by the end of the year.
You’ve heard the rumors … and we’re happy to confirm that they are true (some of them). Everything will be revealed by the end of the year.
This is the phrase that accompanies the Thoroughbred teaser. You can see the joking reference to the “stolen” photos of the SUV that portrayed it inside the production line. The first official image of the Purosangue allows you to better observe the details of the front of the Prancing Horse SUV. Photo that goes to confirm that the stolen shots actually showed a prototype of the Purosangue.
From the image we can see the optical groups with a very thin design, the shapes of the bumper which will have two large air intakes and a hood that appears muscular. As it was already possible to notice from the photos of the prototype inside the Maranello production line, the SUV will present some stylistic elements that recall models such as the Ferrari Roma and the Ferrari SF90.
The SUV, indeed the FUV (Ferrari Utility Vehicle) as Maranello calls it, it will be very important for the manufacturer as it will bring it into a segment in which it had never been present. Although it is not a super sports car, Ferrari has made it known that the Purosangue will still offer the classic driving pleasure that has always distinguished its models.
We will certainly know more over the next few months as the debut is approaching. If we already know several things about the design, there are still doubts about the engines that we will find under the hood of the Purosangue. There is talk of a V12 but also of the V6 Plug-in of the 296 GTB. All that remains is to wait for more information on this new car.
