Ferrari confirms: production of the Purosangue in 2022. Deliveries from 2023

Ferrari confirms the debut of the Thoroughbred during 2022year in which production will begin of the first SUV of the Prancing Horse. For deliveriesinstead, we will have to wait a little longer. In fact, they will start in the course of 2023. These small but interesting details emerge in the very long press release relating to the 2021 accounts that Ferrari has published.

Start of production of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 and Ferrari Purosangue in 2022 with start of deliveries from 2023.

Therefore, it means that Maranello intends to respect the schedule announced some time ago. The manufacturer, in fact, was speaking generically of 2022 for the launch of its first SUV. A precise date is still missing for the presentation of this highly anticipated model but, now, we know that there should be no delays.

Unfortunately, Ferrari he didn’t want to say anything about the technical specifications of his new car. We have been following its development for some time through spy photos of forklifts intercepted mostly on the roads of Maranello. Lately, some spy videos had also emerged showing the SUV, obviously still largely disguised.

There are many rumors about the engines that we will find under the hood but, for the moment, there are no certainties. There is talk of a V12 but also of a hybrid V6 that could come from the 296 GTB. However, Maranello has repeatedly reiterated that the Purosangue will continue to offer the driving pleasure found in all Ferrari models.

There is, therefore, a lot of curiosity about this car that could help Ferrari to further grow in terms of sales. 2021, for the manufacturer, closed very positively. The Purosangue could give a further boost to the company’s sales, given the success of sports SUVs, setting Maranello to new records. At this point all that remains is to wait for the arrival of further information on the launch of this car.
