Audi Q6 e-tron, the new electric SUV gets spied during snow tests

Audi is driving the development of the new Q6 e-tron electric SUV. A very interesting model because it will be the first of the German manufacturer to have the EPP platform developed together with Porsche. Platform that will also be used for other models of the house of the 4 rings including the series versions of the A6 e-tron and A6 Avant e-tron concepts. The new SUV has been intercepted several times during road tests over the past few months.

And now comes a spy video showing the electric SUV in action on the roads of Northern Europe.

In the CarSpyMedia video posted on YouTube, we can see a series of forklifts driving through snow-covered roads. Audi, in fact, stands concluding the winter tests of his new Q6 e-tron. Important tests since it can test the operation of the electric motor and the battery in conditions of very low temperatures.

Looking at the images it is not possible to see any big news on the design front compared to what has already been seen in the past. After all, the camouflage continues to hide the main elements of the look of the new electric SUV. However, you can see the muscular shapes of the car and the front light clusters that have a very subtle design. Given the absence of the heat engine, the classic Audi single frame will be closed.

If small details are emerging on the design, there are still only rumors about the powertrain that Audi will decide to offer. The EPP platform supports 800 V architecture and this will allow very high power refills. Probably, the Q6 e-tron will be offered in different variants, even with double electric motor and four-wheel drive. Lately there is also talk of the possibility that a high-performance RS variant may also arrive.

The debut is expected by the end of 2022. Therefore, more information on the development of this car should arrive very soon.
