Apple launched the earphones Beats Studio Buds last June in three different ones colors: white, red and black. And now she plans to release three more completely unpublished. This is not yet official news, but an indiscretion that comes from a rather reliable source when it comes to the affairs of Cupertino, namely the YouTube channel. Front Page Tech by the famous leaker Jon Prosser. This is also echoed by Roland Quandt on the pages of WinFuture.
In this case we are not talking about special editions, like the Union one released in November, but about new color options that should be available for the mass market. According to rumors and images, the new shades would be Moon Gray, Ocean Blue, and Sunset Pink (and therefore gray, a blue that the name suggests is intense, and a pink that according to the denomination should always be delicate and orange).
Prosser, however, did not provide a launch window, merely saying that they will come “soon“: we can assume that the summer, one year after landing on the market, could be the right time to refresh the product. But maybe we will see these three new colors even earlier.
The Beats Studio Buds are true wireless earphones similar to the AirPods Pro in technical characteristics, but with a different and characteristic design, even if still in-ear.
There is therefore no lack of active noise cancellation (ANC), the Transparency mode to cushion the isolation and continue to maintain an auditory contact with the surrounding world, the support for Hey Siri, the Spatial Audio (even if without dynamic motion detection of the head).
Compared to the AirPods Pro they have a lower price but lack the H1 chip, wireless charging and the characteristic stems.
