Amazfit GTR 3 Pro, it’s time to update: and there is a new health function

Amazfit he threw GTR 3 Pro last October: the smartwatch is already one of the most complete proposals in the catalog, but with theupdate which he has just received becomes an even more interesting product. The version 8.30.13.1 of the firmware, also available for download in Italy, introduces some Announcements for Alexa support and more. But above all in Asia it brings an unprecedented function – at the moment not yet available from us, but which in all likelihood will be approved later – which further rounds off the package of options dedicated to health.

But let’s see everything in more detail, starting with the feature dedicated to monitoring personal well-being, one of the tasks in which smartwatches have become more and more flexible over time, winning the pulse of an ever-increasing number of users.

Amazfit GTR 3 Pro in fact with the update receives the ability to automatically monitor blood pressure at night, a novelty that works in synergy with sleep monitoring. To do this, the watch makes use of its PPG sensor as a heart rate monitor. The feature, which is decidedly rare in the wearables landscape, therefore allows you to keep track of your pressure continuously, even without relying on individual measurements intentionally requested by the user (and always taking into account the approximate accuracy of those that are not instruments anyway. professional doctors, as far as they can provide useful information).

As for the news included in the update and available immediately from us, Amazfit GTR 3 Pro also earns the voice broadcast function for Alexa (already natively supported), in addition to the addition of weekly cyclical alarms and al improved algorithms of the barometric altimeter for greater accuracy of storm warnings. There is also the usual bug filing and system stability optimization.
