The teasers on the new Tonale continue through which Alfa Romeo shows small details of his new car, which is now making its debut as we know that the launch is expected on February 8th. The Italian brand, moreover, wants keep the focus on this model very important for its recovery plan. The last teaser is interesting as it allows you to take a first look to the Veloce set-up which, therefore, will be part of the range of the new SUV.
Therefore, the new Tonale will also be offered in this version as well as on the Giulia and the Stelvio represents the top of the range (Quadrifoglio variant separately). The Tonale “Veloce” will probably be the variant of the SUV with the widest standard equipment. At this point it can be assumed that the new model could also be marketed in the other set-ups currently offered on Giulia and Stelvio and therefore in the Super, Sprint and TI versions. Details that we will surely have the opportunity to discover in a few days when the SUV will be officially presented by the Italian brand.
Returning to the teaser, in the short movie we can see a part of the rear and, in particular, the Alfa Romeo logo that “interrupts” the LED strip that joins the optical groups. Below the brand logo we also find the word “Tonale”. The teaser also pauses to show the name of the set-up probably located on the front wheel arches.
Thanks to this Alfa Romeo teaser campaign we have been able to discover, in recent days, various elements of the Tonale including details of the front and interior. All this, combined with the spy photos that have emerged in recent weeks, allows you to have a fairly clear idea of how the Tonale will be made.
It remains to be understood what we will find under the hood. We know that there will be a Plug-in powertrain derived from that of the Jeep Compass. It is said that there could also be the new hybrid that has recently debuted on the Jeep Compass and Renegade, as well as more traditional engines. The presentation can be followed online through a dedicated page on the Alfa Romeo website.
